One of the most scenic but challenging cycling races on the calendar will be hosted by the Pedal Power Association in Clarens, Free State. Known for its spectacular sandstone mountains and tranquil scenery, the Maluti Double 90 powered by Biogen challenge takes place over a 180km route, with up to 12 riders per team and a time limit of ten hours. The event starts on Clarens Square and takes the riders, through the breathtaking, unspoilt terrain of the Golden Gate Highlands National Park. The PPA is providing five fully stocked refreshment stations, all powered by Biogen along the route as well as a halfway supporter zone, to fuel riders one last time, before they reach the finish line.
