Entries are officially open for the North-West Province’s most iconic mountain bike and trail run events, the Fedhealth Magalies Monster and Fedhealth Platinum Trail Run.

Fedhealth Magalies Monster MTB Classic will return to the ATKV Buffelspoort on Saturday, 3 June 2023 while the Fedhealth Platinum Trail Run, which celebrates a decade of sensational trail running, takes place on Sunday, 4 June 2023.

Spectacular mountain biking

The Fedhealth Magalies Monster MTB Classic caters for mountain bikers of all ages and capabilities with various distances on offer, including a Marathon (+-65km), Half Marathon (+-33km), Fun Ride (16km) and a Kids Event (2.5km).

The Marathon is renowned for its ‘Monster Climb’ up Breedts Nek. Irrespective of the distance entered, mountain bikers can expect a fantastic day out on trails that showcase the Magaliesberg’s most spectacular routes, with exciting challenges and awesome rewards resulting in an overall memorable experience for all!

Sensational trail running

Renowned for its sensational routes, the Fedhealth Platinum Trail Run caters for trail running enthusiasts of all ages.

The event offers a +-24km, +-12km, +-8km and 2.5km kids’ route that incorporates some of the best trails on offer in the Magliesberg.

With ATKV Buffelspoort being a hub of activity, families can look forward to spending the entire weekend outdoors celebrating health and wellness.
