In 2020, the FNB Wines2Whales Switchback was cancelled due to Covid-19. Registered teams were automatically rolled into the 2021 event, which means entries are limited for the rescheduled event.

Entries for the 3 event options open on 28 April at 09:00. The confirmed 2021 FNB Wines2Whales Switchback dates are:

  • Chardonnay: 5-7 Nov 2021 (registration on 4 Nov)
  • Pinotage: 8-10 Nov 2021 (registration on 7 Nov)
  • Shiraz: 12-14 Nov 2021 (registration on 11 Nov)

The 2021 FNB Wines2Whales Switchback promises a memorable ride packed with new routes and an extended network of hand-crafted single-track from the Cape Trails team.
