Ride through the City of Ekurhuleni as you help to raise funds for a worthy cause at the 2020 Dis-Chem Ride for Sight as all proceeds will go towards funding treatment for the thousands of South Africans who lose their vision to inherited retinal blindness.
The main event is the 116km Super Classic, which is a seeding event for the 2021 Cape Town Cycle Tour. The 62km Vita-thion challenge option is ideal for the novice or casual rider. Both races are extremely popular and the support from the local cycling community makes the event the second largest of its kind in Gauteng.
Representatives from the City of Ekurhuleni, Retina South Africa, Dis-Chem Pharmacies, Springs Wheelers Cycling Club, Hamnet Emergency Communications, ASM Safety Consultants, Best Med Road Rangers, Red Cross and the City of Ekurhuleni Roads Department work together to ensure a safe a memorable experience for all participants.
