As South Africa grapples with a third Covid-19 infection wave, President Ramaphosa on Sunday announced new restrictions on gatherings and gym closures, but that doesn’t mean you can’t keep living fit in lockdown.
Adjusted alert level 4 regulations gazetted by the government aim to limit movement and prohibits people from gathering.
As such, gyms, fitness centres and other establishments where people congregate, including churches and restaurants, will need to close until at least 11 July.
The National Coronavirus Command Council will review the situation after this initial two-week period and adjust the regulations as they deem necessary.
