Run Your City Series (RYC Series) organisers have launched the RYC Series Running Club on Strava.

Runners can connect with like-minded individuals, track all their training runs, view the weekly RYC Series leaderboard, keep up to date with RYC Series information, access training tips and the discussion forum, and receive notifications regarding upcoming events and challenges while standing a chance to win spectacular prizes.

Compete and win

“Not only will the club be the perfect platform for runners to challenge themselves while connecting with like-minded individuals, but it will also enable us to share instant event-related information and receive direct feedback, queries and/or suggestions from the RYC Series running community,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports.

The 2021 RYC Series Calendar will go live on Strava in mid-March, which will include the Joburg 10K CITYRUN, Durban 10K CITYRUN and Cape Town 12K CITYRUN, along with other motivational challenges.

How do you measure up?

When completing the events or RYC Series Running Club challenge distances (on Strava), runners must record their run using a smartphone (Android or iPhone device) or smartwatch (Garmin, TomTom, SUUNTO, Fitbit, Polar).

Once completed, runners must upload their results to Strava. Members can track their results on the leaderboarddisplayed on the RYC Series Running Club homepage on Strava.
